Poseidon is one of the most spectacular herd sires in the USA. His fleece is spectacular and has held it's character and fineness. He has unsurpassable density. His follicular density (based on skin biopsies done by Cameron Holt) is 92 follicles per square millimeter. He is passing these elilte fiber characteristics and his stunning conformation to his offspring. He is a full Accoyo Caligula son who is standing stud in the image of his famous sire.
He is an 8X Color Champion and his fleece is still winning awards!
He has placed 1st in Get of Sire NUMEROUS times---at least 13X
His offspring are now winning the awards...often times 3-5 in a winning class of 15! And now his grandchildren are winning awards!

Anasazi is a beautiful female with a history of producing some gorgeous kids. She is an excellent mother and has given us 3 beautiful Poseidon offspring.
She is a very typey Huacaya female out of 2 suri parents. She has correct conformation and bite with a beautiful fine fleece full of character. We chose to breed her to Tierra's Maximus because of her background of color. With the combination of his fleece type and extreme density and her amazing fineness and shine should produce a cria with an amazing fleece.

Magnus is a two time blue ribbon winner at AOBA, yearling composite class in 2000 and dark brown full fleece in 2001. He also was a blue ribbon winner at Estes Park in 2001. He has perfect conformation and has rich dark brown fleece with unbelievable crimp right out to the tips. He is co-owned by Kiblaan Farms and by Tierra Prometida. He will be in New England in the summer and fall and in Texas at Tierra Prometida for the winter and spring. His first crias arrived in 2003 and look great with his fleece characteristics. Colors range from fawn to grey. His 2004 crias include 3 true blacks, all of them outstanding,a color champion fawn and a bay black female that won fist at the 2005 AAA Futurity.

Poseidon’s White Christmas is an elegant, full Peruvian, half Accoyo female who is out of Caligula’s Accoyo Poseidon, winner of multiple championships, and Meadowgate Peruvian Anasazi, reserve color champion. White Christmas is a nice package with all the trimmings.
She has excellent conformation and size. Her bite is perfect. She has a dense fleece with head to toe coverage. Her fleece is full of elite characteristics: fineness, brightness, bundles, crimp, handle, and amazing staple length.
Poseidon’s White Christmas has a beautiful white fleece with a wonderful, silky handle. She is a well grown, bred white female. She demonstrates excellent coverage, fleece character, and density.
Skin biopsies have become a cutting edge tool in the evaluation of fleece quality.. We have found it to be very useful, in addition to the histogram and pedigree, in helping us to make our breeding decisions towards achieving the “ideal” fleece.
Dr Norm Evans performed these biopsies in
August of 2007. Average density has been 38 follicles per SQ mm of skin and average S/P ratio has been 8.5 to 1.
“Christmas has density of 57 follicles SQ mm of skin and an S/P of 10.4 to 1. The 15X scan demonstrates good cluster uniformity with defined structure. The density and 250X scan demonstrate virtually no secondary fiber medullation which is often associated with fine, soft handle. The 250X scan also shows awesome gland presence. Christmas shows well above average fiber characteristics on all evaluations.”
Her last Cria out of 4Peruvian Altiplano Gold was a beauty. Her name is Sheen White Gold and she has won 2 blue ribbons now.
Her next cria out of Magnus should be beautiful as well.
