One of the top Studmaster/Ideal Alpaca Community herdsires, Glacial Storm was a picture perfect example of his famous sire, Accoyo's Augusto. His dam, a dark fawn Peruvian female won 5 fleece shows over 3 years, including AOBA (3 times) and the 2000 International Fleece Show in Canada. She imparted to Glacial Storm his coveted ability to pass on color to his cria, along with his exceptional fleece qualities that won him first place in the national AOBA show composite class two years in a row. His micron count at 1 year of age was 18, and his dense, bright, finely crimped fleece covered his perfect frame to his toes!
