We have always sold most of our daughters out of Caligula’s Accoyo Poseidon and almost always have seller’s remorse. He has consistently produced high quality offspring with beautiful dense, fine fleeces and animals with very statuesque typey conformation. We have gotten a little more possessive of Poseidon’s best, except when we have an equivalent full sibling. TP Poseidon’s Eve is an elegant example of this. She is the daughter of Caligula’s Accoyo Poseidon and the granddaughter of Vaccoyo’s Triumph. She also happens to be a full sister to TP Poseidon’s Hallelujah, who has excelled in the halter and fleece shows and who we are keeping. (She IS bred already!) TP Poseidon’s Eve is showing great promise to be as nice as or better than her sister. And honestly, the only reason we are selling her is because we have her full sister. Eve is elegant in her conformation and stance. She is proud and elegant with a beautiful head, great bone density, and a commanding attitude. She literally draws the attention of anyone who comes to the ranch ... even though she is a white animal within a sea of many other white animals. Her fleece is equally beautiful. She has many elite fleece characteristics with density, fineness, brightness, bundles and a tight high frequency crimp. In addition, she has beautiful fleece coverage from head to toe. She will also come with a complimentary breeding to Snowmass Touché, who is producing some spectacular cria out of our Caligula’s Accoyo Poseidon daughters and granddaughters. And since she is one of our best, I imagine the cria will exceed our expectations and she should continue to produce that excellent quality in the future.
