Pheasant Ridge Alpacas began in 2001. We are located on almost 50 acres of beautiful ridgetop above the Mississippi Valley in South Western Wisconsin. We have rolling hills, valleys, some woods and a pond. Our land is certified organic and crops are raised here for Organic Valley Foods.

Our alpaca bloodlines include Accoyos - Victor, Titan, Caligula, Royal Fawn, Artic, Legacy and Yupanqui. Also, Hemingway, Matador, Don Julio, Guellermo, Geronimo, Loganberry Von TR, SilverCloud PC, Silverado, Mr. Universe, White Out, Acero Marka lines, Legacy de Bolivia, Snowmass Casanova, Bueno, Dom Timbo, and Camelot. We started with full Chilean and full Bolivian alpacas, and now have full Peruvian as well as various crosses. We love the diversity and admire what each can contribute to our breeding program. We have come to greatly admire the Accoyo/Alianza crosses, which are known to produce some of the very best fleeces. We now have three Accoyo/Alianza herdsires available for breeding.

Coming from a dog breeding/showing background, we enjoy showing our alpacas as well. We strive to produce alpacas with excellent conformation and wonderful, lasting fleece characteristics along with good health and temperaments. Our goal is to improve our breeding stock with each generation.

In addition to our alpacas, we have guard llamas, a livestock guardian dog, 3 show/hunting/tracking competition dogs, 5 cats, plus chickens and guineas. The guinea fowl are great for tick and slug control and also produce wonderful organic eggs.
