Northern Solstice Alpaca Farm began as a dream of one day owning alpacas and has turned into the present day operation where we are well established and recognized in the business. We provide an outstanding environment for our alpacas with our modern facility, unsurpassed cleanliness and bio-security efforts and impeccable animal care. We have a breeding program in place that includes some of the most prestigious bloodlines in the industry. These lines are of value to all experienced, new or potential breeders. We own the multi-award winning herd sire AG Space Cowboy who has amazing lineage that is not commonly available in our area. He is working now and has settled his first females. Our alpacas have excellent quality fiber that makes them exceptionally valuable for breeding purposes and popular for fiber enthusiasts. We’re very proud to be home to several ajisted animals - a testament to our conditions and care when we're entrusted with someone's animals. With our impeccably clean environment, uncompromised attention to bio-security and our personal hands-on care for our animals, Northern Solstice is a very attractive place for alpacas, alpaca owners and breeders and farm guests. We have a particular passion for the people side of business as well; both of us being from Human Resources backgrounds. During our years of alpaca farming, we have hosted innumerable farm visits, we’ve had school children field trips, university art classes, senior's outings, future alpaca owners learning about the industry, the general public curious to meet the animals and shop in our farm store and much, much more. Northern Solstice Alpaca Farm offers you flexible and competitive financing on the purchase of our alpacas for qualified buyers. We develop a financing arrangement that meets both parties needs. In most situations, we offer up to 4 years financing with 25% down and 0% interest for the first year. The alpacas will stay on our farm until the 25% down payment is made and we are provided with proof of insurance. Buyer is responsible for mortality insurance for the amount financed. The registration of the alpacas and crias will remain in our name until the purchase price is paid in full. They will continue to receive the same outstanding health care until you are ready for delivery. Boarding will be at a rate of $4.50 per day.
