One of my favorite times of year in Texas is the Fall season. After a summer with heat that seems like it will never end, we are finally experiencing weather that I wish would never end. We have cooler temperatures and the sunshine actually feels wonderful. We have RAIN and the grass is having a second growth spurt. This is the time of year that we review previous breeding decisions, plan new ones for the upcoming breeding season, and start making room for our next crop of cria.
As is typical for us, we had a bumper crop of boys this past year--and how many boys can one farm use? Because of this abundance of boys on the ranch, we are having a male sale! If you are familiar with our breeding program, you will know that many of these boys are out of Caligula's Accoyo Poseidon, TP Poseidon's Motivator, PNA Poseidon's Isaac, andSnowmass Touche'. Most of these boys have fine, dense fleeces and have great conformation. Some of them are suitable for breeding and many of the fiber boys will produce 2-3X as much fleece as the usual fiber male.
I am dividing the boys into age related groups for the fiber quality males, but if you have suitable groups for them of your own, you may mix and match.
Quechua Benefit and Casa Chapi are near and dear to my heart. As most of you know, I have had the privilege of participating in the medical mission trips that QB has sponsored for the past 3 years and have watched with anticipation as Casa Chapi, the children's village, has been built. This past summer, the first 20 children have moved into Casa Chapi and more will be moving into their new homes soon. These boys and girls (ages 5-9 years) have been given hope and opportunity in a world where they previously had none. This has all been possible because of your generous donations to QB and your sponsorships of Casa Chapi.
In an effort to continue to support Casa Chapi, I am offering these males for sale and am donating 100% of the proceeds towards Casa Chapi. Or...if you would rather, you can go directly to the Quechua Benefitwebsite and donate whatever amount you feel inspired to give.
We can offer flexible/creative financing options. Generally we will accept 25% down and offer prime plus 1% on interest for payments. Anything paid in full before 6 months will be interest free. For purchases over $10,000 we will finance over 1-4 years.
