Silver Bullet is stunning. Perhaps the color most desired by alpaca breeders, Silver can produce any and every color alpaca. When bred to solid black dams, he should produce only black and silver grey cria.

And color isn't all he has to offer! Coming from full Peruvian descent, his fleece is exceptionally soft and crimpy - even his tail is crimpy! Bullet has good density and nice coverage. Bullet has very little white on his legs and an almost solid silver grey blanket, something that judge...

Description

Masquerade comes from full Peruvian lineage. With the blend of browns, black and grey his potential to throw color is wonderful. He has beautiful long fiber - average staple length of 4 3/4 inches (which has ranked him in the Top 1% for MSL since 2014 in AOA's EPD Trait Testing) - that just spins up beautifully! I have noticed in this past year that his fiber has lightened up to the point that his processed roving was actually more on the medium silver grey side.

His Sire is HRF Peruvian Silver Bullet - As stated on Ideuma Creek Alpacas website: "Silver Bullet is stunning. Bullet has very little white on his legs and an almost solid silver grey blanket, something that judges like to see! Bullet's sire has multiple ribbons, Bullet has multiple ribbons, as does his full sister. He is destined to produce ribbon winners himself.

His Dam is Ideuma Creek's Peruvian Raven - As stated on Ideuma Creek Alpacas website:
"Full Peruvian True Black Conan Daughter! Raven is one of only a very few black full Peruvian females out of Conan. We were delighted when she was born here on our farm! Raven is the quality black that you get when you cross two top-notch alpacas that cover black. Conan, Raven's sire is a fawn full Peruvian import whose offspring have done incredibly well in the showring. Raven's paternal brother, Lancaster, is a 6X color champion in fawn, and her paternal brother, Kodiak, is a 2X champion in black.

We bred Masquerade to our girl Roxy in 2014. This pairing produced a beautiful medium rose grey with the cutest little white face that we named Marigold. The color on her blanket is divine and her fiber is long, dense fleece just like her sire's.
