Update: Puddle Jumper's first crias are here! Check them out below!!

Puddle Jumper's dam is a daughter of My Peruvian Osbydian and granddaughter of Mr. President. She is certainly an attention grabber with the WOW factor because of her rare fawn and brown patt...

Rincon Cloud daughter!

Rainier's Nala Cloud

Huacaya, Female, Proven, Medium Silver Grey, Full Chilean
ARI# 31094825 | DOB: 7/18/2009
Nala is one of two girls on our farm sired by the spectacular 2005 AOBA Grey Color Champion, Emerald Farm's Rincon Cloud, son of Crescent Moon's Rayo De Sol, who is himself the son of the gorgeous grey, Patagonia's Danko. Nala's dam, Grand River Cheila, has been a rock solid foundation dam for Rainier Alpacas, consistently producing show-ring and herdsire quality crias.

Nala is very easy to handle for herd health, but loves to strut her stuff in the pastures! This girl is unmistakably a Rinc...

We are excited to announce our first Puddle Jumper cria! This beautiful girl out of the Black Mesquite, My Peruvian Obsydian, Danko, and Silver Blade lines, arrived on Mother's Day!

We aren't ready to call her color just yet because we have found that colors out of grey parents often are a different color by their next shearing! She is currently vicuna-colored with white head markings. Our niche has always been the cottage industry and our local and regional fiber artists are already drooling over the gorgeous multi-tones in her fleece! So we will just have to wait and see how her color develops. What fun!

Moxie, from day one, has displayed lovely confirmation, with excellent proportions, a nice straight back, perfectly straight legs and substance of bone. Her fleece has a nice handle, with very full coverage, and she is getting tighter crimp the more her fleece grows in. She even has tiny little crimps in her topknot.

Like her older siblings, she is extremely precocious. She was eating supplement at just 13 days of age! She is very independent and enjoys chin scratches and neck rubs! She has made quite a sport out of toying with her livestock guardian dog! She is definitely full of Moxie!

Update: Because Moxie is a big girl and has been flirting with the boys since she was 8 months old, we plan to breed her to My Peruvian Equador in November for an October 2018 cria.

Stay tuned for updates and more photos!
