SHVN Toronado Plata "Toronado" is a new addition to our herdsire row. He now has five cria on the ground - two MSG maidens, a LB maiden, a MRG male, and a male that is likely a modern rose gray. Spectacular crias!!!! The oldest has her own page TCDA's Holly. She had 4.2 lbs of fiber at 8 months old. And it is even thicker and nicer this year. Can't wait to get the stats!
Snowmass Peruvian Casanova is his sire, Peruvian Bueno is his grand sire. On his dam's side, his grand sire is Shackleton, father of Neruda.
His blanket is a solid light gray, has good crimp structure, and is fine - see fiber stats. His confirmation is flawless. With his gray lineage, we expected great things from this boy. And he did not disappoint!
Toronado is available for outside breedings, for leasing and we would consider trading breedings as well for a comparable herdsire.
Toronado has produced some amazing cria at our farm. We have several young weanlings that we cannot wait to show. However, most of the crias from the last two years are all his - he gets the job done! If you are looking for an outstanding proven gray herdsire, you want to meet this boy. We would consider trading ownership for a comparable male as he will need more work as many of our up and coming girls are his daughters!
