Bayley Rose is an exceptional female at an excellent price. She is a stunning medium fawn sired by the well-known GreyBeard, a rare black-pointed silver grey. Bayley has four full female siblings, all darker than she is and one a black-pointed silver grey--one of these full siblings took a blue ribbon at the Empire Alpaca Extravaganza, and two were sold for high prices at a Futurity Auction. What wonderful lineage!
Bayley's dam, Patagonia's Prima Vera, is a beautiful maroon female, a second place winner at the Futurity, and has already produced 7 crias (6 of them females) at 9 years of age! She is obviously an easy breeder, her crias are robust at birth (all 20-22 pounds), and she is a great mother. Bayley comes from impeccable maternal stock.
Her sire, Greybeard, was an 8-time Color Champion, known for his excellent fleece character and staple length, which he passes on to his offspring, as well as his unusual and striking color (which he has also passed on to 25% of his crias).
