It's no secret that this true black herdsire is an all-around package that you will want to cover any dam, light or dark colored!
Secret is so black -- with no fading at his tips or interspersed white fibers -- that when he is viewed in profile, the light almost disappears into his fiber like a black hole. This isn't surprising with a lineage that includes notable black sires like Othello, recently deceased, and Snowmass Nova's Dark Quest.

Marcy is the granddaughter of two suris that produced a huacaya.... that means luster, brightness, handle, fineness!
She has only produced female crias -- REALLY. She has ALWAYS produced color -- with only one being as light as a LF (CeeJae, who makes great crias herself). Marcy has produced dark color, including a bay black female from a dark brown herdsire. She has had ribbon-winning crias and grandcrias.
She is bred to our multiple champion true black stud Secret, whose lineage is loaded in black and has only produced dark colors.
Her conformation is correct, she is well grown and her bite is good. Her fiber is still soft, bright, with a smooth handle. Her crimp is loose without a lot of structure / bundling but her density is above average. Marcy is easy-going, even when you handle her cria. Her crias have all be large improvements in fiber qualities -- crimp, fineness, and an even brighter shine. They consistently have good crimp, staple, luster, and density with mellow personalities and excellent health. Marcy is an outstanding mom with lots of milk and healthy cria growth. In addition to good growth, her crias all have her friendly personalities (people greeters) and easy-care constitutions.
She is great for developing breeding programs, since she pushes the service sire's fiber qualities through and builds on her already soft and bright fiber. Right now, with her being bred to our multiple champion True Black herdsire, we aren't really 'pushing' her on our sales list. We are crossing our fingers for a wonderful true black female cria this summer! Let us know if you have questions or interest in Marcy.
