Silvercloud Farm's Mercurio is another winner out of our "Grand-Dam", Mulowe. Mulowe's cria and grand-cria have piled up Championships to many to count! Her pairing with El Segundo de Royal Fawn produced Miss Clarice, one of the top female producers in the US, so we repeated that breeding to produce Mercurio, and we now have that genetic powerhouse in the form of a herdsire!

Silvercloud Farm's Walk The Line & his 1/2 brother, Silvercloud Farm's Notorious are making their daddy proud...they are both making an impression in the showring in 2009! Quite a coup for Mercurio whose 1st 3 crias' show ring debuts were a 1st, 1st, & 2nd (Ragged Edge Largo - Dark Rose Grey!).
Let's talk genetics on this guy...His dam is Silvercloud Farms' foundation females, Maple Brook Serina, a Bueno daughter. Every male that Serina has given them has gone on to become a herdsire, either for Silvercloud Farm or one of their customers. She's produced ScF Mint D'Or (3X Champion and co-owned herdsire with Silvercloud Farm & West Penn Alpacas), Silvercloud Farm's Mint Cassini (2X Champion and Herdsire at Alpacaholic Acres), Silvercloud Farm's Dooku (Herdisre for Edgewood Farm Alpacas). Last but not least, in 2007 Serina gave birth to Silvercloud Farm's J'Nay, a Reserve Champion female herself now a member of the spectacular herd at Flying Pony Alpacas.
On the Sire's side, Silvercloud Farm's Mercurio, a MULOWE son and 2X Champion FULL BROTHER to Clarice who has become a legend for Alpacas of Maple Lane. Bueno, Royal Fawn, Mulowe...quite a package here!
The line has only just begun to be traveled as Walk The Line continues to hit the showring in 2009 . . . he's off to a great start!
Walk the line has 3 cria on the ground. One female and two males. All are color with incredible fiber and great conformation. He is for sale for $5000, but we will hold 5 breedings to him. His current stud price is $350. We are offering his stud fee at a low price so that we may get more of his cria on his ground, thus allowing us to gather data on his offspring.
