GURU came into the world on Saturday morning, November 8th at about 10:30 a.m. He was born to the sweet and lovely, Sandhill Mahogany Rose ("Rosie"), and he is her second beautiful, well put together cria...and her second grey! Rosie has exceptionally fine fleece, at well under 20 microns at over 2 yrs. and pregnant! She's been maintaining in the "royal" range, too.

Close-Knit is happy to announce that MADAME BUTTERFLY has produced four daughters, and ALL have been lovely improvements on their mom. The three sons she delivered are maroon (05 cria) and two perfectly purple-like and classically marked rose greys ('10 & '11 cria).
Madame produces QUALITY every time.
Madame has a fleece color fit for royalty that looks truly purple.
Her sire is the famous Macusani's Majesty and, of course, this means that her wonderful genetics come also from her grandsire, the great Peruvian Macusani. She carries that presence of grace and strength, & displays the conformation you expect from Macusani progeny.
Her dam is Fleecy Dale Princess Savannah, who is a very nice medium brown huacaya known for throwing an unusually high percentage of girl crias throughout her successful breeding career, regardless of who she's been bred to.
Madame delivered her first cria (a maroon girl!) in '04, and her 2nd May 22, 2005, here at Close-Knit (the maroon son of Peruvian Cougar, Cougar's Master Peace).
Her '06 cria is Close-Knit Queen Rowan, sired by the incomparable 18 micron true black Dom Lucilio son, Enchantment's Chaparral.
2007 brought the delivery of a grey daughter, sired by the outstanding silver grey herd sire, Kiva's Quintero & '08 delivered a knockout Shaquille daughter on November 7th, Close-Knit Shaquille's Opera! Opera is a soft, super pale, crimpy silver...This big-eyed beauty is elegant and exhibits a glowing fleece that looks almost like mirrored platinum catching light.
Madame is one of those elegant types with a super disposition & natural mothering instincts that just glow when she's with her cria. She delivered SYMPHONY, a rose grey son of the bay black Peruvian Checkmate June 30, 2010, & on 9/1/11 she birthed a little "mini-me" of herself, sired by Close-Knit Freedom de Napoleon..."Madame Butterfly's Broadway!"
