Harmony (1/2 Alianza) is dark brown with FULL fiber coverage. She looks (and feels) like a powder puff. Her sire is 6Peruvian Royal Gold, an Alianza import from the Antacalla region of Peru. Like her brother, Snow Mountain Champagne Truffle, she is structurally correct and sound, is very light on her feet and prances when she goes for walks.
Please note, that although Harmony was registered as a Medium Brown, she has since been color checked by certified color checkers and shorn and has been determined to be Dark Brown. But, she has definitely become a maroon beauty
We have bred to Harmony to our Herdsire Koda, which will add exceptional fineness to her cria. With her color background and his fineness, we are expecting a lot from the resulting cria.
We will also include an additional breeding to any of our herdsires. Any of our herdsires would be a quality match for Harmony, but, I would recommend either Koda or Richie as exceptional choices to breed Harmony to. Koda would bring the exceptional fineness to the breeding, or if you chose Richie, combining the color genetics they both would provide, we would have high expectations of a rose grey cria. It would all depend on which direction you are taking your program. Either way Harmony would be a great start to any herd or would fit well into an established herd.
