Samichay is a Full Peruvian, 3rd generation Modern Grey, from an outstanding pedigree. His sire (Prince Greystone) is a 4X Grey Color Champion/AOBA Champ out of the famous DSG Condor, and his Silver Grey maternal grandsire 6P Silver Lining was one of Humming Hill Suri Farm Ben Fisco’s tops picks on the 1998 importation from Peru. Samichay is his sire’s spittin’ image with EVEN more bone and substance!

AND Sami's DAM, Patienta, was just recognized for being one of the top 5 producing female suris at the 2013 National AOBA show, and her 2014 EPDs were #6 in the country for AFD, #12 in the country for SF, and #3 in the country for %>30! This explains Sami's consistently excellent EPDs, year over year, with TOP 1%AFD ranking for 2015. His show record was incredibly consistent with 1st and 2nds all around (and he consistently beat out his siblings by the same sire--his DAM's attributes carried the day!). Samichay carries himself with solid presence and style in the pasture with a level topline, well set legs with full fleece coverage thru his toes. So, you say you are breeding for grey--any grey..."can I breed him to classic grey?" Well, Sami's sire has bred to classic grey for us 4 times, producing 1 classic grey, 1 modern rose-grey, and 2 gorgeous blacks. Sami produced rose grey in 50% of breedings to med fawn for us. We have had no blue-eyed whites.
Sami has continued in the tradition of his sire and grandsire, passing on Medium Rose Grey fleece (and freckles!) to several of his crias including SoCal's Miski.

We are listing Sami for sale because we now have a 50% ownership of his sire, so Sami is not getting as much "work" from us as he would prefer. And Sami LOVES his work...He loves to go for drives in our Honda Element--just settles right down, because he knows what we have in store for him at the end of his journey.

Sami is back at Derwydd alpacas in Esparto, agisting. However,he would be happy to be sold on auction, as long as you promise to put him to work!
