Serendipity possesses the LG density, medium frequency crimp and the brightness we strive for as breeders. Serendipity’s dam, Carmela, is a 1998 import and a permanent foundation female at TGF. Carmela consistently passes on excellent conformation with some of the brightest fleeces we have ever produced.
Fiber Description She's well earned her nickname of "The Sheep". Extremely consistent 5 year old production female who's had 3 crias and her primary and secondary fibers are the same in... |

Miriel is quite possibly the most unique huacaya we've ever seen, with incredible density, superior fineness and blinding brightness that surpasses the best suri and silk! She was born with over 2" of fiber, and has put out a staggering amount of staple length in her first year of life. With her blinding brightness, we believe her to be a true SILKY alpaca, who possesses incredible organization and crimp (similar in style to Rambouillet wool). Exactly what would be expected from her prepotent genetics.
She's a daughter of Snowmass Royal Challanger (granddaughter of Royal Rose), out of an exceptional beige female, Golden Serendipity. Serendipity is a Snowmass Legacy Gold daughter, out of a rare Cambria import, Carmella, known for producing extremely bright fleeced offspring.
Fiber Description
So, in keeping with the general theme, here's another girl with a better grid than midside. In fact, there's only 0.5 difference between her grid and midside AFD, with her SD and CV better grid than midside. So, finer overall and more uniform over all. She combines the best of both worlds, as an ideal, sheep-like uniform fine fiber producer with the crimp and organization that shows well. Few primaries in her fleece, and they're identical in style and micron to her primaries. And her silky brightness is the icing on the cake!
