Shadow is bred to Admiral! We anticipate a CHAMPION cria from this Juggernaut/Admiral combination of genetics. Shadow's sister, Starlite was the 1st cria out of this mix of genetics and she is absolutely gorgeous. Starlite's show record speaks for itself as she is now a 3X COLOR CHAMPION being awarded JUDGE'S CHOICE (Championship of Champions) as a 6 month old juvi at the Buckeye Alpaca Show (her 1st show). Also winning her first Championship Banner and a Blue Ribbon. We are so pleased with Starlite that we decided to breed Shadow (a Juggernaut daughter) to Admiral hoping to get another "Starlite" from this same mix!

Shadow is a beautiful true black female out of our 7X Color Champion Herdsire, Juggernaut (A Champion producing Champions!). Juggernaut has been letting the dam's color pass through and Shadow is no exception. Her dam is our true black foundation female, Gotta Have Chocolate.

This beautifully fleeced Full Peruvian female boasts 1/8 Accoyo genetics from the well known Full Accoyo herdsire, Accoyo Grandmaster! Other lineage includes Altiplano Gold, and Peruvian Leah (a champion producer and a champion herself!)

Shadow's conformation is good, boasting a correct bite, solid frame, and good balance. Her fleece is bright with a fine handle (17 Micron in Black!), and a bold type crimp style coming in at the skin. Special girl? We think so.

Shadow and her 1/2 sisters (all Juggernaut crias) dominated the show ring as juvi's! Shadow (TB) took a 2nd Place Ribbon at the Buckeye Alpaca Show out of a class of 11! Way to go Shadow. Starlite (LB) took JUDGE'S CHOICE, Color Championship and a Blue Ribbon as a 6 month old juvi at the Buckeye Show (her 1st show). Princess (LB) is now a 2X Reserve Champion. Empress (MF) took a 1st Place ribbon at Buckeye.

Shadow has one colorful background! Her grand dam's pedigree has both Fawn and True Black. Her grand sire boasts a pedigree with browns and fawns listed in his heritage. If you want color in your herd...this is the girl for you! We believe that when bred correctly, she too could produce black cria!

Shadow's total fleece, heritage, and conformational package make her perfect for both the new owner, or established farm. Shadow should make for a solid production female with endless color opportunities!

Awards

2nd Place // TB Halter 2011 Buckeye Alpaca Show out of a large class of 11! Lvl IV Show (Sara Jane Maclennan's comments..."Best handle in class. Liked bone structure. Strong frame. Style was consistent with crimp from the shoulder to hip and midside.")
3rd Place // TB Halter 2011 Indiana Alpaca Invitational Lvl IV Show (Sharon Loner's comments..."Good angles. Soft handle.")
4th Place // TB Halter 2011 AlpacaFest (Kristin Buhrmann's comments..."Fine, dense and had good character. Her fleece is what placed her above the others. Her balance needs to improve a little which will come as she matures.")
