Gracie is a super special multiple BLUE RIBBON WINNING full Peruvian light fawn female who is outstanding!!
Gracie is the sweetest of the peas. This girl has the best personality and is definitely the welcome wagon. She loves play with her alpacie friends, but also has no shyness around her human friends. She is brave and mild, walks on a lead like a puppy and will eat out of your hand.
Gracie’s conformation is what we call spot on. She has a square compact frame paired with heavy bone. Her backline is flat as a board. Her legs are poker straight tree trunks. She is quite the beauty. In her latest show where she took blue, the judge raved about her conformation and body condition.
Gracie’s fleece is dreamy. She has tons and tons of fleece – full coverage from a full teddy bear head down to her toes. Fineness, density, tight crimp, bright, consistent, buttery, long staple – just a dream.
Lineage – Her sire is the one & only Charles P Atlas whose reputation in our eyes is unsurpassed. Charlie has 70%+ female progeny w/ colors from WH-TB (incl. rose & silver greys). His offspring have too many champions to even count at this point, and a long list of awards himself too! Gracie’s dam is Surefire’s Peruvian Honey Bee who has names like PPeruvian Camilio, Peruvian Accoyo Captain, PPeruvian Leon, 4Peruvian Cronus (Accoyo Import), 4Peruvian Harmonia on her cert. Honey Bee is a terrific foundation female that we all wish for – amazing reproduction history, lots of milk, easy breeder/birther and excellent mommy. Gracie’s grand dam is My Peruvian Honey (out of 2 imports) has 80% female progeny on the ground. She is superb in every aspect. At 13 she still has spot on conformation, confirmed pregnancies on 1st try, robust show quality offspring, & lots of milk.
Gracie is now bred to LLC Peruvian Kevlar, a multiple champion light fawn male out of Pride of America and Copper Rain – 2 full Peruvian well respected alpacas who have produced many champion offspring. Kev’s first crop of cria have hit the ground and we here they are amazing!!! We think this pairing will make a show stopper!
