Chasse is a medium fawn 1/2 Peruvian female with the tell tale white face confirming her rose grey genetics. Her dam, Fantasy's Kokopelli is a medium rose grey female who has produced consistently vigorous cria. Chasse is an excellent production girl. She is solidly built with excellent size of bone, and deep body capacity. Although not particularly fine, her fleece has good density, and overall coverage.
Chasse joined our herd in May 2007. She has now delivered four cria at our place without any assistance. She's an extremely attentive mom with plenty of milk. Her cria are strong and vigorous!
For 2009 we bred Chasse to our award winning silver gray male, MaRS Taxco. Since Chasse has lots of gray in her background and she produced a rose gray cria when bred to gray in the past, we decided to give it another try and it worked! Their son, Katoomba, is handsome rose gray male pictured in the first photo. Chasse was bred back to Taxco and this time the result is a brown male with darker tips. Her 2011 cria is included with purchase as well as a breeding to your choice of our herdsires.
