Legacy De Oro is a spectacular brown male herdsire. We are excited to have him in our breeding program for his wonderful fleece, which is richly colored, dense, and displays consistent character across his frame – all characteristics that he has passed on to his first crop of crias, along with his excellent conformation and size (see the picture of him with his first cria at right.) His outstanding show results reflect the complete package that he is. His bloodlines are very attractive, with multiple generations of champions on both sides, including his incomparable sire, Legacy Gold. Follicular analysis conducted by Dr. Norm Evans on a sample taken from Legacy de Oro when he was 4.5 years old revealed a density of 63 follicles/SQ MM (particularly excellent for a darker colored male who was also older when sampled), a S/P ratio of 13 to 1, and a score of 3 (out of 4) for sebaceous gland presence.
