Total Eclipse of the Moon is a stunning example of some of Moonlight's best work. Of course, we have been happy everything mom has made us too! Snowmass Royal Moonlight was one of our original herdsire purchases and he has blessed us with many fine amazing cria. Moonlight is a Royal Rose son out of a Legacy Gold daughter giving him some powerhouse genetics including Hemingway, Bueno and Legacy.

His dam is one of our favorite production females out of Acero Marka's Mr. Know it All, famous for producing offspring with fine consistent fleeces.

Eclipse has solid conformation with a large bone structure on a compact frame. Judges have commented on how well this male is put together. His fleece is fine and consistent, showing the same structure from head to deep down the leg.

His show career has been successful. He routinely placed in the top of the white class in his yearling year taking two seconds and a first in large competitive white classes (Are white classes ever not large and competitive?). He placed 2nd in the only two year class we took him to at Mapaca. As a juvi he was a little on the small side but still place in the front line up.

We started Eclipse breeding (we admit it, we couldn't wait!) last fall with good success and we are looking forward to his first offspring in 2013.

We are interested in selling half interest in this beautiful young male to the right farm.

Our standard financing is 25% down, with payments monthly for 12 months at 0% or prime plus 1% for 24 months on purchases over $1000.

We pride ourselves on being flexible to the needs of our customers. We are willing to consider many options and will be happy to suggest financing or listen to your creative ideas.

Regardless of the financing arrangements, Hidden Pastures reserves the right to maintain possession of the alpaca until 50% of the contracted amount is paid. Hidden Pastures will board your alpaca for 90 days, without cost to the new owner. After 90 days, alpacas are boarded at a rate of $100 per month.

Buyer is responsible for any transportation costs for their alpaca purchase.

We are also happy to accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express for your alpaca purchases and payments.
