We just got back the results of Telli's 2011 histogram (at 8 years of age):
AFD: 23.6 microns, SD: 4.4, CV: 18.6, % over 30: 6.4

Tellicherry may be the perfect black huacaya. He is drop dead gorgeous and is wearing tons of silky black fleece. Telli's fleece is exceptionally dense with well-defined crimp and lock structure. His leg and head coverage is enviable and his conformation and bite are correct. Telli is a stylish male and a great example of the huacaya phenotype. He was a joy to show and list of wins is quite impressive. Telli's 2005 fleece analysis is just icing on the cake. AFD 20.4 microns, SC 3.8, CV 18.6, % over 30 microns

As they say,the proof is in the progeny and thats definitely true for Telli. His most,notable,offspring is Sleeping Giant Mr. Cash - a 14x color Champion black male. His wins include The 2010 AOBA National Fleece Show Champion Black Male Fleece and the 2009 AOBA World Fleece show,Res. Champion Black Male Fleece. Mr. Cash also won Championships at AWE for three consecutative years.

Telli has sired many other high quality alpacas including our own AVC Pride And Joy, a true black female who is ready to breed to our super-fine, blue black male named Kodiak.

We would also be willing to talk about leasing Telli, especially if you breed from late spring until about November. We would need a 5 breeding agreement for us to be willing to send him off of our ranch. We are interested in discussing and hopefully finding a solution that works for all of us. Telli is a great producer.

We would also be interested in trading for a high-quality white male.
