Magnatar is a beautiful male. With genetics from Timoteo, DPA Quetzel, MFI Peruvian Maximization, and Pachacuti, he has an excellent lineage. He has great fiber, nice density, and small, tight crimping. His fiber stats are great, and actually improved between 2009 and 2010. We believe that he will be able to produce offspring with lingering fineness.

Just getting ready for 2012 shearing and was checking out his fiber. Very long staple length and excellent density. Last year he sheared 6.4 lbs. Can't wait to see what this year brings.

Country Dream Alpacas has recently purchased him to add to our herdsire row. We are excited to prove him out in 2011! Magnatar settled his first female in May 2011 on the first attempt. He seemed like an old pro at it.
