Royal Diamond has been removed from our Breeding program list for only one reason, Diamond has a Thyroid problem and takes medication daily for this affliction. I really think she is the sweetest most gentle alpaca we have ever owned. However, we wanted to be honest about her thyroid. She can hopefully still be bred one day when she reaches an appropriate size and there should be no carry over to her cria with this ailment. Royal Diamond was born on Nov. 16 2010, her Sire is APP Peruvian Royal Phanfare 837933. She is a great grand-daughter of PPPeruvian Royal Fawn and PPPeruvian Aphrodite. Grand Sire PPPeruvian Royal Fawn, a full Accoyo male sold for a world's record price of $600,000.00 to two well-known breeders, Ernie & Barbara Kellogg, Double "O" Good Alpacas, and Mike & Robin Tierney, Maple Brook Alpacas. Royal Fawn's offspring have received awards too numerous to mention. Some of his offspring include the Kellogg's Dom Lucilio, who sold for $400,000; SA Peruvian Apollo, owned by Stachowski Alpacas and Windy Knoll Alpacas, who sold for $435,000. She was weaned in May 2011...and available on her own.
