UPDATE!!! Diamond's 1/2 sister's (all Juggernaut crias) are dominating the show ring as juvi's! Starlite (LB) took JUDGE'S CHOICE, Color Championship and a Blue Ribbon as a 6 month old juvi at the Buckeye Show (her 1st show). Princess (LB) is now a 2X Reserve Champion. Empress (MF) takes a 1st Place ribbon at Buckeye. Shadow (TB) takes a 2nd Place ribbon at Buckeye.
Wow! This little lady has it all! I REALLY don't know where to begin...
Diamond is a Full Peruvian, white female with 3/8 Accoyo genetics. She is full of personality and will certainly capture the attention of anyone visiting our farm. Diamond is very laid back and is the sweetest alpaca I know.
Super bright and super fine (15 microns) are words that describe her bright white fleece. Her fiber is exquisite...awesome character, density and fineness. Parting her fleece reveals crimpy fiber that is consistent from her neck, through her blanket and down into her legs. Her coverage is excellent!
Diamond's conformation is good with an excellent bite. She has great bone structure which she inherited from her dam and her grandsire.
Diamond's sire is our own 7X Champion Herdsire, Juggernaut, who is a very elite male. Juggernaut's 1st cria and Diamond's 1/2 sister, Princess, is now a 2X Reserve Champion as a juvi. Her lineage is impressive with the noteable Don Quijote, Accoyo Grandmaster, Altiplano Gold, and Peruvian Leah (a champion producer and a champion herself!)
There is a lot of color in this girl's background. Her sire has been letting the dams color pass through. When bred to the right herdsire Diamond too may throw color.
We are very pleased with Diamond. With her award winning genetics, fleece structure, and great conformation Diamond couldn't help but do well in the show ring. She is a 2X ribbon winner taking a 1st place ribbon at her first show and a 2nd place ribbon at her second. She is certainly a nice female and has definite potential. Diamond would make a great addition to any herd.
Since Diamond is a Juggernaut daughter we recommend breeding her to our 17X 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Reserve Champion Herdsire, Admiral (for a reduced rate). We anticipate a CHAMPION cria from this Juggernaut/Admiral combination of genetics. Starlite, Diamond's half sister, was the 1st cria out of this mix of genetics! (Starlite's dam, Star, is an Admiral daughter and her sire is Juggernaut). Starlite is absolutely gorgeous. Starlite's show record speaks for itself as she is now a 3X COLOR CHAMPION being awarded JUDGE'S CHOICE (Championship of Champions) as a 6 month old juvi at the Buckeye Alpaca Show (her 1st show). Also winning her first Championship Banner and a Blue Ribbon. Who knows you may get another "Starlite" from this same Juggernaut/Admiral mix!
Think what a girl like Diamond could do for your breeding program!
Awards

2nd Place // Halter 2011 Kentucky Classic Alpaca Show (Judge commented positively on her density. Conformationally correct).
