Sweet William is stamping his offspring with strong bone, fine bright fleeces, phenominal coverage and perfect alpaca type. We have tested William with the same female 5 times and each time we get very similar top quality offspring. Across our herd, William consistently has produced dark fawn to light brown offspring that all have the trademark William fleece and coverage. William's fibre stats speak for themselves (16 microns at 2.5 years old). He has produced 3 Supreme Champions, many Grand and Reserve Champions in white, fawn and brown with only a very limited number of offspring.

Sweet William was sired by the now deceased Jolimont Peruvian Sculptor out of Australia.

Williams 7th year shear weight was still over 10 lbs!

Sweet William is a stocky well put together male with a beautiful head and great disposition. His offspring are staying under 20 microns over 2-4 years of age across a large variety of dams. Don't forget to bring your colored females too, William throws solid color as well.

Just look at some of William's offspring and their accomplishments. His offspring are producing Supreme Champions now too! Excellent genetics.

Priscilla Alyst is the joy of our farm. This girl can produce! These are genetics that are hard to beat. Priscilla shears 10 lbs every year, she is the best mom, consistently produces our best crias and has such an easy going attitude. Priscilla was still winning in fleece shows at 5 years of age.

Her offspring have done extremely well in the showring, with Best of Shows, Supreme Championships and multiple Grand Championships. Five of 8 offspring have won Grand/Reserve Championships and the remaining 3 all ribboned well in the showring like Breeder's Choice Fleece at the AOBA National Fleece Show.

Description

Shamroc is a spectacular fawn Sweet William Son. The only William/Priscilla son in eastern Canada. His family tree is so filled with champions we knew he would follow in their footsteps. His sire Sweet William needs no introduction, he has been and exclusive hersire for KJ and Sumaq Valley Alpacas for many years. He continually producing champion and supreme champion offspring. Shamrocs dam Priscilla has produced many champions as well and at 11 years of age still shears one of the heavyiest fleece weights at KJ Alpacas. He is the full brother to Supreme Champion Eclipse Alyst and full brother the Grand Champion Sculptor Alyst and Salina Alyst. Shamroc has a broad chest, perfect confirmation and bite, with spectacular dense fine fleece, with incredible crimp style.
The Shamroc crias micron counts came back... Sham has DEFINITELY earned his keep!!!
