Beth is a real sweetheart of a girl. She is very laid back and easy to handle. She has always been very healthy with no health issues. She breeds easily, has never had any complications during birthing and has always had ample milk supply for her cria. Her calm demeanor makes her a pleasure to be around. She is also very good with you when she has her cria, not being overly protective, which you really appreciate when you need to handle them. Her cria also tend to have real easy going personalities, which is a trait we like to breed for.
Beth has very dense fleece with good crimp and is always one of the first in line to get hosed down in the summer! You will love her gentle disposition. Her 2010 cria has some of the most beautiful fiber with brightness and crimp galore, so we know the quality she is capable of producing. She has strong color genetics, and has always produced a color darker than the male. She has some gray on her face, so she could possibly even throw a gray. I'd love to see the fleece she produced in her 2010 cria on a gray.... now, that would be very exciting!
With Beth's lineage coming from Peruvian Cocoa Moon, who was a formerly well-known herdsire from the west coast, and Peruvian Immigrant as her sire, I have no doubt she will produce some fabulous crias for you. Her attitude and demeanor have always been great, which is one reason why we've wanted to be sure to maintain some of her bloodline in our herd and why we've not considered selling her until now.
Beth just gave birth to a beautiful male cria on June 8, and he looks just like his full brother you see pictured on this page. His fleece is even nicer than her 2010 cria's fleece was at his age. It is absolutely STUNNING! Both her sons have been sold. Beth has been bred to another non-related male with awesome fleece characteristics and we'll soon be confirming if she is pregnant and will be due Fall 2012. With her sweet and calm personality along with the quality she can produce, this sweetheart of a girl is a steal at this price.
