OK...Sometimes it is difficult to admit that you were wrong about something, but this male is even better than I ever hoped. Despite doing well nationally in both halter and fleece classes, I underestimated this guy! You know, he's from Texas and is sometimes kind of goofey acting...so.....anyway.

Max is a beautiful medium sized male with a powerful pedigree and a show record to back it up. The cria he is producing are spectacular. Whether the females he is bred to are foundation quality or show quality, the crias seem to be a significant improvement over their dams. He has stunning conformation, presence, and a beautiful fine, dense fleece with bundling, shine, and outstanding crimp....all of those elite fleece qualities we are shooting for.

Did I mention that he was dense? We had Dr. Norm Evans do skin biopsies on this male and it just confirmed the reasons for his success in the show ring. He has a density of 61.75 follicles/ sq mm, an S/P ratio of 10.5/1, very tight bundle structure, great gland presence, and a low number of secondary fiber medullation.

All of these attributes are being passed on to his offspring.
