The name Shanti comes from the Hindi word meaning peace. Shanti is aptly named. Her sweet personality is a product of genetics. Shanti is a granddaughter of our herd matriarch, PC Peruvian Rana. Rana's personality is best described as placid and has been passed down to her offspring. In addition to her sweet temperament Shanti is correctly conformed and is well-covered with an exquisite fleece. Her density is exceptional and the crimp style shows deep corrugations from the base of her skin to the end of the staple. We are impressed with her fineness, especially given her high degree of density.
Shanti is the product of two impressive breeding programs - Snowmass Alpacas and Alpacas del Valle Cereza. Her sire is the renowned Snowmass Royal Bronze and her dam is the 4x White Champion, AVC Rana's Lady Hawke. It just doesn't get any better than this.
