Are you looking for a high quality girl to add to your show string? Are you looking for top genetics that are proven in both fiber production and the show ring? Aphena will help you bring home the blue now and for years to come with her offspring. You'll also get a rare genetic treasure. Very, very few alpacas were imported from Cambria, and Aphena is the maternal granddaughter of one of the best Cambria imports.
Her genetics have been instrumental in the success of some of the biggest names in the alpaca industry: Snowmass, Cas Cad Nac & Tripping Gnome. We have her genetics very heavily embedded in our breeding program, and we want to share them with you. So you can have the same success.
Aphena is a dream to handle and is halter trained. Ready to walk into the show ring. Her maternal line is proven as superior mothers who birth easily and produce high quality milk. These girls make so much milk, the babies are always +70lbs by 4 months!
Aphena sells with a breeding to our top herdsire, 3X Champion Snowmass XXXtremely Golden. And its here the genetic package gets even sweeter. For XXXtremely Golden carries the genetics of another outstanding Cambria import female, plus the great 5P Cangalli. He's also the son of 2x Futurity Herdsire of the Year, Snowmass XXXtreme. We've seen what this genetic combination can do, and its incredible. We want to share our best with you.
November 2012 Update:
Another WOW fleece. Super consistent everywhere and even finer than her first fleece. Super bright with great density.
One of the best fleeces we can produce. Very consistently soft handle, bright with high frequency crimp. Equally well suited for show or processing. She is another one of our more "sheep like" alpacas, with her extreme degree of uniformity in all respects. Almost no primary fibers. No guard hair. Primary fibers nearly identical to secondaries in micron and style.
North American Alpaca Show 2012
International Alpaca Odyssey Commercial Fleece Show 2013
near perfect for uniformity of micron and primary/secondary ratio
