We are excited to finally bring an appaloosa to our stud row. As a handspinner, and friends with many others that appreciate quality and exotic fiber for their creative handspun yarn, I know that his fiber will be highly desirable and quickly sold.
Jacob a nice male to add to our herd, as he is easy to handle and inquisitive. With his nice personality, he has a fine, crimpy, and super shiny fiber -- which fits well with our breeding program. His spots are perfect -- lots of them of a de... |

This gal's heritage is loaded in color, with her grandsire being the renowned true black herdsire Jericho 69I from Canada (Okanagan Alpacas) -- whose offspring were born even at 'big name' farms like Snowmass, CCNF, and A.L.Paca and include 52% black, 23% brown, and 16% grey offspring with 67% being females.
On her maternal side, Gabe's Mocha also has a strong Bolivian heritage from the Acero Marka line as well as a solid Peruvian influence from the famous PPeruvian Victor, who brought his... |

This boy IS roaning throughout his blanket. His chest is a wonderful dusky color with his bay black fibers mixing with fawn as well as white. I like this color so much I am thinking of creating it by mixing fibers for my rovings / yarn!
His shiny fiber with a silky soft handle, great staple length and regrowth, and good coverage, density and crimp. He has such an expressive and open face, along with his fuzzy ears and good topknot, so you always want to look at him. On his side, he loves people and the camera, 'shadowing' you a few feet away to see what you are doing.
He is well grown with a straight and strong conformation. His bite is good.
We have his sire, and a herdsire row that already surpasses the needs of our small farm, so we cannot keep him. If we could have asked for more, we would have put a bit more crimp and density on him to be more competitive in the show ring. However, he is above average in all qualities and very good to excellent in some. He would be great for infusing color into your herd, especially if you are interested in promoting long staple and shiny, soft fiber. You can get him at this low price, and even lower if you add him to a package. We are looking to make room so his price is lower than warranted. Make us an offer!
