Nilla is a beautiful yearling :) She's crimpy from her topknot right down into her leg fiber. She's built like a little tank and look at those gorgeous legs - as straight as can be! She was born on day 329 at 12.8# but she was completely ready with teeth erupted, upright ears and boy was she spunky! That petite little package has grown into a sturdy, solid girl and, in fact we weaned her at 5 months because she was a very generous size. 1/2012 Update - Nilla really is looking fabulous - heavy bone and a stocky build, perfect for birthing all those future cria! 3/2012 Update - Nilla's fleece is very pretty - it's lofty and fine with consistent crimp throughout her fleece. She's very even tempered; not flighty like many youngsters. 1/2013 - I always have a hard time getting pictures of lights and her most recent picture definitely doesn't do her justice. She's really a pretty girl!
Nilla is sired by Peruvian Atomic Fusion who brings Caligula, El Nino, Victor, Accoyo Bentley, Camelot, Sunipani and Astillero to the table, plus his ultra creamy fleece! The yarn we had made from his fiber has been a favorite!
Nilla's dam, Shimmer also hails from superb bloodlines. Her sire, Golden Sun is a full Accoyo, son of PPeruvian Camilio, and a grandson of PPeruvian Caligula and Accoyo Isis. Her dam, ChiChi, is queen of lingering fineness, and whom we so adore! She brings Chivay and grand-champion Kiki to the mix. Shimmer's has kept nice fine fleece, just like her dam did so we expect Nilla will carry that forward too.
We love this girl and are not anxious to sell her .... she is one of Lee's favorites ... but we need to move a few. She's going to make someone very happy!! Comes with breeding when appropriate!
