Holy Cow! This guy has a spinner’s dream fleece. Dante is a white boy and carries a brown silver dollar size spot on his left front shoulder. Dante has the fleece of a “silky” – Long luxurious blindingly bright super super fine fleece. Dante is a huacaya that has fleece with a lot of similarities to the amazing characteristics we all love about the suri fleece. This fleece is so fine that it is almost cold to the touch.
Dante is a robust, healthy and happy boy who is full of spunk. He has great conformation and heavy bone with tree trunk legs. Dante is nice and square with a typey head and full coverage.
This boy would be ideal to breed to a girl who needs imporvement on her fineness, staple length and brightness. With the spot he carries – he is very likely to be able to throw color too!!
Dante is out of notable parents. His Dam is MY PERUVIAN FRANCESCA – a white full Peruvian female who has produced COLOR CHAMPION offspring in TODAY (2011) shows. His sire is PCA Accoyo Shangri-La. Shangri-La can lay claim to something no other alpaca in the world can and that is being the only full brother to the recently deceased Accoyo El Nino. El Nino produced numerous champions, was Futurity Herdsire of the Year and arguably one of the best herdsires ever.
