My Peruvian Ariana is an in your face – super social – Ms. PR alpaca. She is very sweet and mild, but loves loves loves attention. She wants all her human visitors to talk to her, pet her, sing her a little song, kiss her nose… Let her out of the barn and she will follow you around like a puppy, I mean executive assistant. (That’s what we tell her that her title is)!! Although she has the demeanor of a bottle baby, she was never bottle fed, that is just who she is. She is also mild and gets along great with all her alpacie friends in the herd. She is an easy keeper and a total lover.

Ariana was in one show and took a second in a large class. She was the youngest in the class and the judge just loved her. She is a true BLACK BEAUTY. Ariana is a FULL Peruvian BLACK-as-night female out of a SUPERIOR DAM – the one and only 98 import – CPeruvian Odessa! This Dam is what I think of as the Dam of the Century!! She is a medium brown with black points. She has produced 75% female and most are TB & 1 grey. This import is 180+ pounds, excellent mom, milker, breeder, and loves attention herself (eats cookies out of your hand and walks anywhere on lead). Her Sire was My Leonardo (Fawn Full Peruvian) who carried the Royal Fawn and Camelot lines. Ariana comes from a line of female producers and should follow suit. Her Dam has produced mostly females and her grey sister My Peruvian Bellissima just had an earth-shattering grey female cria out of Fire N Ice.

Ariana’s fleece is wonderful. She is crimpy and bright, and consistent, and dense and FINE with a long staple. It is what you would expect if you were looking for a full Peruvian black female that had fleece a step above all the rest. If you like to play the black and/or grey game – this is a girl to take seriously. We all want to add something that could push us over the top…and Ari has it PLUS the BESTEST personality you could possibly ask for – the greeter that will make all your farm visits and open houses a hit!!
