Rosehaven's Greyfyre is offered exclusively by Close-Knit Alpacas via The Secret Meadow program. This is a SHAQUILLE son, and he's grey, and he's "decorated," and definitely one to take a very close look at.

Greyfyre is a beautifully fleeced alpaca, so whether you're considering him as a herd sire for your grey or colored huacaya breeding program, or looking for outstanding fleece and color for your fiber herd, Greyfyre's a terrific choice.

Greyfyre's conformation is true and correct, and he has a nice and upright presence, as well. He's got a good dental bite and substantial bone without being "bulky." His bulk is in his bundling fleece!

Greyfyre's sire is the famous Shaquille! Shaquille gained major attention as the highest selling grey male in the U.S. alpaca industry just a few years ago, when the top stud for Fleecy Dale Alpacas grey and black breeding program. Shaquille has sired no fewer than 144 ARI registered offspring as of December 2011. Most have been of some shade of silver or rose grey, and the others a shade of brown or black (both true black and bay black).

Greyfyre's dam, Circlet, is a stunning silver grey gal out of a medium silver grey '98 import (so her sire and dam are unknown). Cirlet was sired by The Double E Hannibal, a true black full Chilean import (again, as is the case with imports, his lineage is unknown).

So you can see Greyfyre's pedigree is chocked full of greys and true black! No wonder he's turned out so amazingly colored!

Greyfyre has a temperament similar to his sire, Shaquille - elegant, laid back, low key but alert to what's most important - the herd...especially the girls!
