***Update - 6/8/2013 - Bravo's first cria has hit the ground and WOW. A stunning grey female! Congratulations to Wyndy Pynes! We can't wait to see this little princess! We are so glad we aren't competing against you in the ring! LOL
Oh my, my....we cannot thank Grand River Alpaca farm enough for creating this masterpiece.
Bravo has more than a “who’s who” in his ancestry. Take a peek for yourself – and feel free to dream. We did. And then we purchased him for our breeding program. We recognize the exceptional pedigrees in this male – and we HAD to have him for our future generations. This is who helped create Bravo:
Dark Shaddow (stunning male who simply needs no explanation as Reserve Extreme Herdsire of the Year)
Grand River Amstel (son of Dark Shaddow, also an Extreme Herdsire of the Year)
Danko (incredible grey male who needs no explanation)
Crescent Moon’s Rayo Del Sol (yet another stunning grey that needs no explanation, son of Danko who is both
Futurity and Nationals champion)
And the late Legacy (perhaps the grandmaster of them all)
Equally qualified dams round out the picture to create this outstanding TWO time BLUE RIBBON winning AOBA Nationals winning male (in Full Fleece, no less!). Perhaps you understand our excitement in adding these genetics to our foundation.
Bravo is clearly packed with incredible genetics – but he brings his own credentials to prove that he, too, is an outstanding package. Winning a blue ribbon at Nationals in a Full Fleece makes a statement. His conformation is flawless and his coverage is extreme from head to toe. His fiber (oh the fiber!) is extremely dense and very bright with a zippered crimp style.
Perhaps the most interesting thing about Bravo is he really is modeled after his 8x champion grandsire, Rayo Del Sol. So all the grey breeders out there…take notice. All the black breeders….don’t feel left out…Dark Shaddow and Amstel are there packed in there waiting to pop out.
