| "Middy" was, until 2 years ago, the boss of the female herd. She is assertive by nature with the other members of the herd but gentle with people. We have chosen Alto for his lack of guard hair and density. He is a very nice fawn stud and we were not disappointed by his first cria.
Alto’s sire, MMR Viravito, is the son of Jolimont Peruvian Viracocha. Viracocha originates from the famous Sollacotta herd, one of the most outstanding fleece producing herds in Peru, known for the fineness of their fibre. He is one of only two herdsires from the Sollacotta lineage imported into Canada; the other being Jolimont Peruvian Alpamayo.

Rubi is smaller in size. She is a twin of Esmerelda. Her dam is SMA Midnight Magic. Rubi is a chunky girl with a lot of fleece. Despite her smaller stature, she was the third in fleece production (6 lbs 14 oz) in the 2010 shearing of the herd. As she has aged, she has developed into a very nice dark silver grey girl. Rubi holds her own with the other members of the herd and is easy to handle. She has produced one very nice female cria (EAF Rachelle) and proved herself to be a good mother despite the cria being born prematurely. Her personality can be summarized as "outgoing". She and Esmerelda do go as a pair.
Rubi has been bred for a 2012 cria.
