Bidding Info

Quiana is a large girl who has great confirmation and our second longest staple length on our farm for 2011 shearing. She has a great temperament and is very curious. She won a ribbon at the only alpaca show she has entered. She has outstanding genetics as well!

On the top side her sire El Nino's Elberto is one of the best colored El Nino offspring we have seen. He consistently produces outstanding offspring as well. Her grandsire is El Nino, great grandsires are Pperuvian Caligula and PCA Peruvian Microsoft. Her great- great grandsire on the top sie is Pperuvian Camilio.

On the bottom side Quiana has Premier's Rubio as her grandsire, PPperuvian El Moustachio as her great grandsire and Peruvian Bueno as her great-great grand sire.

Quiana's 2011 fiber sort showed 38.5 oz of WR "1 & 2 fiber in her blanket and 11.5 of the same in her neck. She had a 8 out of 10 on brightness, 10 out of 10 on density and a 10 out of 10 on uniformity of crimp with moderate amplitude and moderate frequency of 6-7 per inch. Sorter's comments- " Nice density and weight, lovely handle." Staple length 5- 5 1/4 inches.

Quiana comes with our lifetime 50% 0ff listed breeding fees of our award winning herd sires as long as she is owned by the original purchaser!

Whether you are interested in purchasing high quality alpacas for breeding, show, fiber or selecting a herd sire to breed to, you should use Expected Progeny Differences (EPDs) as an additional selection tool to make a wise decision. You can increase the probability of creating ideal offspring with up to 95% accuracy. Contact us to learn more about using EPDs. We have been using them to improve our herd since 08'.
