On Brown Sugar’s dam’s side of the family tree, her Canadian born dam, Saltspring Bronwyn’s sire, MISTER MAVERICK is a stellar son of the famous PERUVIAN DON JULIO G159. Not only that, Brown Sugar’s dam’s maternal grandsire is the medium silver grey full Chilean stud, SILVESTRE (#62)! He was paired with the full Chilean true black and dark silver grey with white dam, RIKI, to produce Brown Sugar’s grandmother, the true black MMR BLACK VELVET, born in Canada.
