A trait that we should ALL be breeding for is the lack of extending primaries, which most breeders refer to as "guard hair". All alpacas should have guard hair on their chest, belly and armpits, but some tend to have less even in these areas and Dexter is one of them. His blanket secondaries and primaries are almost indistinguishable.If you are looking for an extememly consistant alpaca in COLOR, then you should consider Dexter. Oh, and add some awesome genetics while you are at it! Dexter now has a confirmed pregnancy which was from his first try!!!!
