Cedar Farms Accoyo Royal Prince
Full Accoyo

At 2-years of age Royal Prince is a very large and beautiful Full Accoyo male.

His overall looks and style are a mirror image of his Sire "Accoyo Royal Knight" who is 1/2 owned by Don and Julie Skinner of Snowmass Alpacas.

His fleece is extremely dense, bright and fine along with consistent crimp styling. Royal Prince boasts superior coverage over his entire frame to include his beautiful head and top knot.

The genetic foundation of Accoyo Royal Prince is very strong and why wouldn't it be. His Grand Sire on his fathers side is the renowned SA Accoyo Royal Avenger who has put multiple Champions on the ground in his breeding career. On his Dam's side his Grand Sire is 6Peruvian Accoyo Grand Triumph another imfamous Accoyo Stud that was a cornerstone for Anthony Stachowski for many years.

When we go deeper into his genetic base you will see his Great Grandsire is 6Peruvian Royal Fawn who of course is owned by Ernie Kellogg at Double O Good alpacas and part of his World Class Herdsire row.

Accoyo Soulful is a Excellent production female of prime age and quality. Her sire is original import Full Accoyo PPPeruvian Cordero.

Soulful's cria have all been EXCEPTIONAL when it comes to quality fiber. She definitely let's the "ELITE TRAITS" of quality males she breeds with pass through. Soulful is an exceptional mother producing large quantities of milk which may explain the huge size of her offspring.

Accoyo History- Don Julio Barreda
After many decades of rigorous genetic selection, Barreda has redefined the alpaca.

The dramatic nature of Don Julio’s results was demonstrated when 462 huacayas were shorn prior to entering quarantine for the 1995 Peruvian Five Star Alpaca Import Sale. Of the 462 huacayas, 92 were from Accoyo. The Accoyo fleeces averaged 8.61 pounds. The 370 fleeces from six other farms averaged 6.31 pounds—a difference of 2.3 pounds, or 36% per animal. The fleece of the Accoyo huacayas averaged 22.13 microns and some had micron counts as low as 17. The average standard deviation was 4.82 microns and the co-efficient of variation averaged was 22.91%. The balance of the import was about the same fineness with a higher standard deviation. The average Accoyo animal sampled was 18 months older than other imports: simply amazing.
