Far Away in a Galaxy Nearby, "Galaxy" was certainly a surprise package when she was born! Don't you know that Tripp Forstner had fun coming up with HER name! Actually, it suits her to a tee because her coloration is about as far out there as you can get! The brown patches even extend into her tail!

We really have no interest in selling Galaxy, as she is a very special addition to our foundation herd. We have to list a price to get her to show up in more searches.

Update: Puddle Jumper's first crias are here! Check them out below!!

Pud is a lovely boy sired by the late TRULY GREAT black herdsire, Black Mesquite. Mesquite was co-owned by Magical Farms and Flying Pony Alpacas. Breedings to Mesquite were restricted and he commanded a stud fee of $7500!

Puddle Jumper's dam is a daughter of My Peruvian Osbydian and granddaughter of Mr. President. She is certainly an attention grabber with the WOW factor because of her rare fawn and brown patterned fleece! Her fleece is very fine, still Grade 2 Baby Alpaca, at six years of age!

Pud is a gorgeous male with a very soft, rich copper-brown blanket. From day one, his fleece was a bundle of tight curls, which have now organized into a wider spaced and higher amplitude crimp style. His fleece has above-average staple length. We measured his yearling fleece at 5 1/2 inches, three weeks before shearing! Pud's 3-year-old AFD was still a low 21.5 microns and his fleece is scoring exceptionally well in Handcrafters Spin-Offs, including Judge's Choice at the 2015 Southeastern Animal Fiber Fair (SAFF)! All the judges comment that Pud's fleece has a wonderful handle for his age! Landmark Farm does not show in halter classes because of the expense, the stress on both the alpacas and their humans, and for bio-security concerns.

Pud has beautiful conformation. He has a well-balanced boxy build, straight back, and ramrod straight legs. He also has a very cute Ewok face!

With Puddle Jumper's color background; a true black sire and a dam with surprise patterned genetics, he can produce pretty much any color, and IS! Check out his offspring, including a beige out of a silver grey dam!

If you want to double up on the genetics of two of the best black herdsires in the country, Black Mesquite and Obsydian, Pud is your guy. Introductory breedings are $450.
