Congratulations to Renee & Rick Ritenour of the Alpaca Palace, on their purchase of La Marietta.

La Marietta is the offspring of two color champions. Her dam, Amarilla Rose, is a champion fawn female that we retained as part of our foundation stock. La Marietta’s sire, Lennox, is an 8-time color champion and was Patagonia’s top herdsire. We have repeated this breeding combination several times and will continue to do so because it has been so successful. La Marietta’s full brother, Patagonia’s Celio, is an 8 time color champion, and her full sister, Patagonia’s Delicia, is a 3-time color champion.

La Marietta’s combination of density and fineness in her fleece is what sets her apart. Add to that a beautiful head on a solid frame and you have an exceptional girl.

La Marietta was on our 2014 showstring. She brought home Reserve Color Champion banners and Blue Ribbons at both TxOLAN Spectacular 2014 and Michigan International Alpaca Fest 2014. In addition she received first place at MAPACA Eastern States Jubilee 2014 and 2nd place at the Buckeye Alpaca Show 2014.
