Proxy Bidding is where Openherd's system places counter-bids automatically on your behalf up to a maximum amount you specify. This ensures you stay the winning bidder (unless someone bids higher than your maximum).

It's easy

Just click on a lot and enter the maximum amount you're willing to go up to in the bid box. This will only increase the price the minimum amount in order to keep you the winning bidder.

Don't get outbid!

If you are bidding on multiple lots or are not able to be at your computer when the auction ends, this is the ideal way to make sure you don't get outbid at the last minute.

Want to keep an eye on multiple auction lots and see where the bidding is going? Click any lot, then click the Save to My Pen icon (must be signed in).
