As you you may know, life isn't easy. M. Scott Peck, in his book "The Road Less Traveled", wrote - "Life isn't easy, once you accept that, it actually gets easier". Or something like that. Well, that is our mantra right now. Actually it was the voice of Jerry Stiller repeating (loudly) "serenity now!" , but I was getting a headache so changed to the life isn't easy thing.
Well, I begin our tale of woe this morning by letting you know that we let the farm property we were buying fall through due to "a difference of opinion". I will leave it at that (...serenity now!....serenity now!!!!). However, with every cloud there is a silver linining. We have been diligently scrambli...uh, looking for another suitable property for our Alpacas. We are putting in an offer today on an even better location, funny how things work out, and even have a few properties in mind should this not come through.
So, being in the right location at the right time is important. In fact the location we are hoping for seems idyllic, where one could sit back and listen to the Alpacas humm (sort of a soft high pitched grunt if you ask me), but lovely just the same (the word "lovely" was for the ladies, I really don't talk like that guys) and in a soft voice in my head hear "serenity now...serenity now...." I'll let you know. Sshh, listen, I think I can hear Zamfir playing the pan flute in the background....
