Grays Harbor County, Washington held their thirteenth annual farm celebration Saturday (September 29th). The county provided three buses (40 passenger) to take people to local farms.

This year's tours sold out. We are told the photo of our your male, Nevada's Spats of New Moon (born 2011) was the big draw. Each of the three tour bus loads were enthusiastic about the farm. New Moon Alpacas has already been asked to open its doors to next year's farm tours for the county.

In addition to our 60 alpacas (both Suri and Huayaca), we had shorn and processed fleece, show ribbons won by our alpacas, and a two-page brochure. We also had a lady from the local fiber guild spinning alpaca fleece.
