Finally! The snow has GONE!!!

Tender sprouts down there!

Tender sprouts down there!

Fence repairs, pasture cleanups, and preparing for shearing day! Spring came late and now it's rush, rush, rush...we are trimming their hooves this weekend- which I have dubbed "paca pedicures". We schedule trimming every 6-8 weeks here as it's easier for me to snip shorter hooves than wait until they've grown so long and hard. We've had pacas that fight this process and one did kick the cutter back into my hand-which required stitches. However, those days are past as the animals we now have are much more cooperative!
Too warm for this coat!
