Chanler by Cosette
Lakeland Alpacas Minnesota
Well it's about time. Chantilly finally had her cria on day 361! Chanler showed up at 10:20 am on May 17th. My sister Beth Ann now shares her birthday with an alpaca =)
Chanler weighed 19.6 lbs. and was up and running (hopping) in 45 minutes. Chanler's main photo is in front of Cosette. Cosette is at day 354 today. We are hoping that she has the next cria today. cross your fingers
Chanler's grandsire Woods Edge Accoyo Baron Lafite has proven himself by producing some of the best white suri offspring is the U.S.. It was this male that made up my decision on whom to breed Chantilly to in 2011. Chanler looks wonderful! Even if he is just 2 days old =)

Marcie 1st Place N.I.A.E.
Lakeland Alpacas Mora, Minnesota
It's Monday October 24th and the day after the Northern IL Alpaca Extravaganza 2011.
My 2 Suri females, Marcie and Jazz came home with a Blue ribbon each!!
It was another great Fall show with great weather in the 60's.
Thank you to my great Suri friends at the show for helping get my girls to the show ring on time. Everyone is so social that it's easy to lose track of when your alpacas should be in the show ring. Thank You!! =) Brian
