Jay happened upon Irene's Abigail during one of his shearing jobs in May 2005 and was smitten; and we were so pleased to be able to finally purchase Abby later that Fall.
Abby is a beautifully built proven black female with the densest, crimpiest fiber ever! She definitely has the "cute" factor and is a true doll.
Recently a hand spinner came looking for fleece to purchase and Abby's was the one she picked out first for handle & brightness. And this was a fleece from when Abby was gestating and lactating & she still has nice fleece!
