Consistent Quality you can Measure! Each alpaca has an EPD!

After raising alpacas since 1998, we are retiring and having a herd dispersal sale! Purchase some great alpacas at fantastic prices! A number of our alpacas are in the top of the National EPDs! Many are quintessential foundation herd females and herdsires and they can jump start or add depth to any breeding program. We prefer to sell our herd intact or in two or three groups at a substantial discount letting buyers take advantage of the award winning herd we have developed in the past 20 years. We will however entertain offers on single studs or females at higher prices.

177 Ribbons, 11 Color Championships & 3 "Best Hand of Shows" including AOBA National in 23 Level 3 or higher shows! Getting a Championship in 50% of large shows entered is quite an accomplishment with a herd of 45 alpacas on average.

" Most Uniform Breeding Program" IAO 2nd Place 2010 behind Snowmass, 2nd Place again in 2013 & 3rd Place 2011 behind Snowmass and Park View. 2nd Place 2012 IAO Get of Sire Commercial Fleece- El Nino's Elberto.

Rated #2 Best 2013, #3 Best 2014, #11 Best 2015 and #10 Best in 2017 in the USA Fineness EPD - Victor Valedar's Armando
(out of over 19,000-23,000 males).

Our breeding goal since 1998 is to focus on raising the highest quality of mainly colored huacaya alpacas as evidenced by outstanding pedigrees, elite histograms, impeccable conformation and consistent top ribbon winners in the largest alpaca shows. Our herd is comprised mostly of Peruvian/Accoyo and Chilean/Accoyo blends with 1/2 to 3/4 Accoyo in each offspring with genetics including Hemmingway, El Nino, Victor, Camelio, Vengador, Mr. President, Bolero and Presidente.

We have used Expected Progeny Differences (EPDs) as tools to further differentiate outstanding alpacas since 2008. We also sort our fiber and keep an individual record on each alpaca since 2008 to provide further data for our fleece development program and to maximize profits from our fiber harvests.

Due to our desire to be more active with our church and charities such as Quechua Benefit, of which Daryl was President (2010-2016), you have not seen us in the halter ring recently after showing in the ring for 10 years and then four years winning fleece ribbons in some of the largest shows around the U.S. We however continued to breed some of the highest quality alpacas for sale in the U.S.

Please feel free to contact me at darylgohl2@gmail.com or 503.407.5943 to discuss your interest, ask questions or make an offer. We continue to offer mentoring and consulting services free of charge to those who make alpaca purchases from us.

Daryl is past president of an AOA Affiliate and served over 3 1/2 years on the AOBA Judge Training and Certification Committee. Come and see us or call today, if you would like to benefit from our experience in successfully raising alpacas.
